Guest guest
Hi Group- I wrote the message below about 2 days ago, listing the URL of all sized Anchor Hocking jars at prices which are at least $7 cheaper than any I have seen. I live in an area where even the Walmart is 30 mi away; so I order most things on the internet. I was surprised, however, to find that I received no responses. Especially since my email brings me more than 50 messages per day from the Group. With certain topics being beaten to death. I thought that this was a bargain. http://www.waresdirect.com/product.asp? prodID=69832TAH & prodName=Anchor- Barbara L. > > I've been a member of this list for about 2 weeks but this is my first > time posting. Guest guest
Oh! Nice site, for containers. I did not get the link to work, but decided to click on the alternative given when the page did not load.THANKS! -Audrey I'll still use my gallon > pickle jars for the moment, due to cost constraints. ><snippet> > Robin, it does say case lots, but when you 'add to cart,' it shows > you're only buying one jar. Guest guest
I found nice, one gallon glass cookie jars at Walmart for $4.99, and they have a neat rim around them that the rubber band hugs tightly. They have metal lids and if I ever get tired of the K tea (horrid thought!!) I can use them for many other things. Pat in CA
Guest guest
The cookie jars I got from Walmart are square. They fit nicely together on the counter, with their little covers of fine material and rubber bands, plus the small piece of masking tape that has the date on it. This tells me when I should start sampling the brew. In hot weather, I start in 4 days, but it takes longer some times. Being a living culture, it has its ups and downs. Guest guest
I just got an Ikea catologe in the mail, and found a 7x7x5 glass jar with plastic lid I may try? but usualy use the pickle or quart, just was not sure if folks appreciate that size? I agree with you about re using things. but the bowls are tempting since they stack.
