If you go to the Texas Home School Coalition website, they have examples of the letter to send to the district. You absolutely don't have to go to this ARD unless you want to. By the way, are you receiving any services from the district at all? If you are, you probably do need to go to the ARD. We sent letter declining all services. I have copies of these if you want to see them just email me. marilyna@... marilyn Anyway, we withdrew our son from the school --sent the letter, signed him out etc... NOW they are saying that we have to have another ARD??? They are saying it is because we didn't finish the last ARD. I thought we were very clear at the last ARD that we were removing our son from this school. My son's lawyer thinks they are trying to find a way to say our son is truant. Any ideas as to why they would say we need another ARD? We've been home schooling for almost two weeks now and we just got the call a couple of days ago. Very odd.
