Guest guest
Is it called Pseudonomas? I've heard of that type of Infection mentioned many times on the Spina Bifida Lists I am on. I haven't heard of it being Medication related though. Really can't help you with the rest. Guest guest
Sure, the antibiotic kills off the susceptible bacteria, leaving a playground not affected by that particular antibiotic. Happens all the time in our nursing home. Some poor folks have to be of three different antibiotics before they get a clear urine. Did anyone ever have a bladder infection and then get treated with med's and get an infection caused by the medication? -- Life shrinks or expands In proportion to one’s courage. Guest guest
Kelli, I had a bladder infection the whole time I was pregnant, in fact it was the infection that ended me in the hospital and my son coming 3 1/2 weeks early. That was twenty years ago, I was on Macrodantin, and that was all they could give me in fear of hurting the baby...my kidneys were infected as well. Do you self cath? I constantly had infections (3-5 a year) until I started cathing almost 13 years ago, I have never had one since..
