Stan: Just wondering...because I see our DAN in a few weeks and I

keep going back and forth regarding trying a valtrex med for our

son. I havent done any viral testing but know that he has many many

soft signs that you indicated.

But I was wondering something regarding chicken pox. Isnt chicken

pox a form of herpes? Is it a virus? Could the fact that our son

got the chicken pox at 13 months of age be a contributing factor to

his viral problems? Would valtrex help to clear chicken pox virus

lingering around in his system?

Thanks......Kim

PS: In your research and experience with patients...have you noticed

that scripting (form of verbal stimming) be caused by viruses? Have

you seen that scripting and other verbal stimming be eliminated by

anti-virals? I read on another site where a parent was able to

significantly reduce her son's scripting through anti-virals (natural

only).

Thanks again STAN! You are a wealth of info!

Not Stan, but yes chickenpox is a form of herpesvirus. I date my

son's decline into autism with the chickenpox vaccine. Know several

others who do too. Kim

Thanks Kim for your reply, very interesting! Our son did not have

the vaccine, he had the chicken pox (same thing though)....and I

would assume that valtrex would help our kids improve if they were

still harboring the chicken pox virus in their body. My son was only

13 months old when he got the chicken pox..and I did not notice any

regression at that time, just very slow devlopment from around that

time, if you know what I mean.

Good luck, I hope this works for both of us!
