Hi Karuna,

It is a good idea of having a gettogether of our batch at some other

place than Delhi and Mumbai say Goa or some other place.

I am anyway extending an invitation to all out batchmates

at Mumbai where I am willing to arrange a gettogether.

About coming to U.S. I am not sure whether I can make it. My son is entering the

SSC this year and shall be busy from 1/5/04 to 15/3/05.

I am be planning a trip to U.k. with family some time in

April 2005.

If I come and it is convenient to meet as per your convenience then we shall

meet. I also wish to inform our Other alumni in U.K. that it would be a pleasure

to meet

out alumni in U.K. In april-may 2005.

Friends Kindly let me know if possible who all from our batch & other batches

are in U.K..

Hi Raju, Karuna Sadhana and other silent '78 batchmates,

It is a good idea to have another get together, but I wonder that would it

be possible to co-ordinate dates considering children's holidays, summer

heat, spouse's professional plans, private practice etc...

(please note that I am usually NOT pessimistic by nature)

Which part of India do you have in mind ? In my humble opinion Goa is

out(too hot & humid). A hill station is more likely place- preferably near

Vaishno Mata. That way we can have lot of fun while trekking up and down.

Which time period ?

Karuna when are you visiting India ?

And lastly, after our silver jubilee reunion we('78) at Nagpur have not

managed to meet even once (just an example).

Ashok in USA is trying for last so many weeks and as my impession is that he

is a pefectionist and so wants to wait till everybody joins.

It should be easier in UK, as most of them seem to be in midlands (even I

was there at Stoke-on-Trent in 1989-90) and the distances are much less.

Anyway, let us plan our best.

Hi all -at least we are talking about a re-union-that's something-considering we

were reputed to be the laziest batch on earth.As for the actual thing-it may

take a few years-so what?And it seems half the gang is strewn around U.S and

U.K.Have a brilliant idea-all these phirangs out there-get a 78 batch benevolent

fund together and the rest of us will be there in a hop step and a jump-say

Miami?(joke)Seriously though-let our think tanks-Raju and Karuna come up with

ideas-and practical Marwah can give sensible advice.It could be timed with all
