I think maybe Brande may have mentioned him? I hope I'm not wasting my time, but I got the impression from my conversation with his secretary and nurse that he only sees adult patients for certain conditions, and TSC must be one of them, 'cause I got the appt. If anyone else knows anything about Dr. Frim, PLEASE let me hear your info. And Kathy, thanks for your advice, I've started making a list, and I'm calling my nsg. office tomorrow about the pre and post op notes. Guest guest
Yes, I think I have mentioned his name before on this List. I have not personally seen him, but have heard alot about him on the Chiari List. He does also treat Tethered Cord. I believe he sees both Adults and Children for both Tethered Cord and Chiari. I have a strong feeling you are not wasting your time..........from what I have heard, a visit with him is worth it. Me mymocha@... > I've seen Dr. Frim mentioned on this list for TSC?? Guest guest
After I wrote the note, I thought about it...and my own nsg is the only one of the six nsg's that operates on tethered cords and Chiari malformations, so they must go hand in hand for the most part. Also, the nsg's I've seen in Boston also operated on tethers and Chiari. Sorry if I frightened you. I should have posted a follow-up with the above thoughts.
