Just like Spina Bifida seems to be.......for some, it's Heridatary, and for others it's Enviromental.....etc. For me, there is no way my Tethered Cord could be from Heridatary, since it has been caused by Scar Tissue. My Spina Bifida could be, but I can't say for sure.......there are no known others with it, or other NTD's in my Family. And the Hospital is Duke, that is doing the Study.
