This is not a made up story or something that you can check out on

Snopes because it just happened tonight.

I think I would check with Doctors and pharmacists on this. Last month, it was Motrin and Robitussin. ( http://www.snopes.com/medical/drugs/motrin.asp )If there was truly a link, don't you think it would be ALL over the news? Not to mention that Tang and Motrin have been around a VERY long time. I am highly suspicious of the validity of this. ;-) Carol in ILMom to , 8 DS My problem is not how I look. I'm sure he's not the only kid that has ever ingested Motrin and Tang together. There would be lots more deaths if this combination were deadly. These things are almost never true. I wouldn't post it or pass it along until it had been verified.

What surprised me was that the results would be available over night....test results seem to take so long.

I totally understand your apprehension about this. This was not an

email that I got. My son called me and told me about it and it

happened to his friends.

I was wondering about the overnight thing too....

I had misunderstood.

The little boy died a few weeks ago, they got the test results

yesterday and Arron called me last night to tell me about it.

I agree that if I had this in an email I would immediately go to

Snopes to prove that it was wrong. But this wasn't one of those passed

on messages. This actually happened.

The only thing I can figure is that the combination of the two had

some kind of chemical mix and I do not know how old the little boy

was... I was just told he was a " Toddler " For us... " Toddler " is

between 1 and 2 yrs old.

Yes, I would encourage you to pass it on. Someone else emailed me and

said they had heard the same thing happening with orange juice and

motrin. So, it could be the acids mixing with the meds in motrin. ???

I really don't know... I just know that I wouldn't want to take the

chance...
