I have another question though, excuse my ignorance here. What is the point of a lumbar puncture in the first place? What is the purpose of knowing what my numbers/readings are? Isn't it enough to know that I'm low/high pressure just from my symptoms? I already know I'm both from my failed surgeries. I'm not trying to wimp out... well, maybe I am just a little bit.
