Guest guest
Ok Mel, GET OUT OF MY BRAIN! LOL, I swear last night I had our wills out on my lap and was discussing cremation etc with Ray (it is what we both agreed upon and put in our wills - half the ashes to bury, half to keep forever, give to the kids, or scatter to the winds.) OK, we are not even married yet but we did wills, and advance directives long ago, just to be prepared! (SO I AM a little Obsessive Compulsive....I LIKE being prepared!) Ok, we don't have a Winn Dixie out here, I wonder how well shrimp would hold up sending it UPS? Hmm...LOL, my kids are BEGGING to go to their dad's for the weekend, he feeds them pizza and candy, and cereal 5 times a day if they want, but I won't argue, I get a break for the wekend and they get spoiled for a few days! Poor thinghs act like they are starving to death! Good for Tom, that 3 pounds probably feels like 10! I know Ray is losing slow but steady and he is happy with the way he feels, (HEHE, I kinda like the way he feels too!) Deviled eggs?? YUMMY! MY favorite but they sure make for some nasty ass farts when the kids get ahold of them! I made boiled eggs and chopped them up for Ray and he is going to make egg salad out of them, has to eat it wthout bread but he is finally adjusting to the loss of bread and tortillas (a Mexican without his tortillas, there is nothing sadder, he actually pouts!) but he knows that he needs this and that it will get better and easier as time passes and he loses a few more pounds. Thank God he loves salads and meat and eggs though! Unlike me, he CAN eat the same thing every day without getting bored, I get really cranky!! have a great day Mel! Guest guest
Hi ! Congrats to Tom on losing another 3 pounds. Sorry to hear about your grandmother. I agree that funerals are difficult for the family. When my dad passed away, it felt like we were doing the funeral out of an oligation to his friends, rather than a rememberance for us. At least, that was how I felt. I wasn't able to attend the wake, which was a couple of days after the funeral. When I pass, that's what I want is a wake. A gathering to celebrate my life, not mourn my death. And I'm going to be buried in a biodegradable box with a simple stone at the site. I've already discussed this with my husband and he agrees. Hugs! Tracey > > He said another 3 pounds today....We went to my grandmother's funeral > today Sorry to get off on a different subject, but this is bugging me tonight > for some reason. I figured out how to eat out last week at applebee's( and his little girfriend had to go after the dance... " Mom, But EVERYBODY GOES! " ) I ordered the southwest steak, had steak with grilled veggies on it, cheddar and swiss cheese. Then a salad instead of potatoes...They put bacon(Big chunks of meaty bacon) egg, and cheese. Told them to leave off the croutons.....Talk about a high protein meal!! But I couldn't eat too much but what I did eat was good. I am kind of wavering about cremation. In a way I think, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, but In a way it creeps me out. After my dad died, I went as far as to ask if they had a weight limit on the furnace.....There is but I think it's over 400. We now have a new crematory here in Gadsden. so they don't send them off anymore....You know to places like Nobel Georgia....LOL. In a way I don't want to have my family to have to worry about my ashes, I mean 30 years after your dead who's gonna want to care for your ashes?? Especially after I see some graveyards. It seems so much cheaper, but I don't know. Maybe I will call and ask tomorrow. in Bama http://hometown.aol.com/mdl1031/myhomepage/profile.html Surgery-12/6 -377.5 2/17 - 346.5 ( minus 31lbs) 01/15- 338.1 (minus 39.1lbs) 02/12-330.0 (minus 47.5 lbs)

I am glad we got to spend a few minutes together. You will definately make your dl weight by then. Heck when you loose that alien of yours you will be able to see what I can that you are positively skinny! You will make it... And will I see you this summer at Martas pool party in July (I hope)?
