Guest guest
Actually, Shyam, there are many levels of a personal mail. What VK said is partially right. (VK, is it too late for a partial retraction of my words?) If we start getting personal mail of the nature that I ate Sushi yesterday and we go on to describe the colour, aroma and consistency of its end effects, that would be too much! It is very difficult to define how personal we can get. For example, now if Reuters reports that there was an early morning tremor of Richter 7.0 in England and a young Asian doctor is being questioned regarding the coincidence of the timings of the earthquakes and her Flamenco dance routines, we will know what to think just because of a personal mail. I am all for such personal mails, which explain things. Or for example, the mail which told us that just when we thought that it was safe to venture out, Duggal was at large again, and this time there was a sequel accompanying him. Of course, that does not mean that we should drawl on about Chunnu's tantrums and Munnu's refusal of slow food (as opposed to Fast Food). Or one can safely omit gruesome details about one's failed love life. On second thoughts, PLEASE send those details. I would (drool) love them. I think it is best for the sender to ponder a bit and put himself in the other's shoes, or in this case, spectacles, and see if he likes what he / she sees. I think, on the whole, our group is quite sensible in this respect.
