Guest guest
I had talked to my pediatrician regarding starting my son on ginkgo, and she, along with another doctor, recommended eventually getting to a dosage that is one-third of the adult dose. He is 4 yo and about 35 pounds. I've gotten Honeycomb's liquid ginkgo and an adult dose is said to be 1ml, which has 1000 mg ginkgo. So one-third is 333mg or 1/3ml However, I've seen ginkgo posts here and people are giving their kids much lower dosages in terms of # of mg. Is this liquid form just really concentrated? I've read someone using Honeycomb's and saying 3/4 ml was equivalent to 60 mg but from the label on the bottle 1 ml is 1000mg Is anyone else using liquid ginkgo and have any advice? Thanks for any help Sue
