Guest guest
A couple things: 1) is anyone in the Los Angeles area? I have never used Miralax for my children, so I am not personally affected (I am thankful every day for having found this group before trying Miralax). My former neighbor is a local news reporter. I do not know if it would get anywhere or if she could help (or be interested), but I could call her. It would be best (I think) if there were a few of you in the Los Angeles area that have been adversely affected so that if she wanted to talk with you, it would make things a little easier. 2) A while back there was a mention of a class action law suit in one of the posts here. Has anyone attempted to contact a lawyer yet? I used to be a scientific advisor (in regard to intellectual property, not litigation) at a law firm. I could ask some of my friends there if they have any suggestions for someone to contact if anyone is seriously interested in pursuing that avenue. Again, I would not be a member of " the class " but could help with explaining the science side of things to an attorney. 3) Regarding getting more people to report their adverse reactions - how about posting notes at public places such as the park, community center, kids' gym, etc. with the words " MIRALAX " and " ADVERSE SIDE EFFECTS " or something to that effect on it. THen a quick blurb about this Yahoo! group and little tear strips with the web address on it for people to take with them. (Like the signs people post with items for sale and little tear off pieces with their phone number on it). > > > > After hearing stories like 's, this really wrenches my gut because > > of the similarities, If we as parents don't stand up and do something about > > this, they will be running all these tests on thousands of children, like > > 's and still not put 2 and 2 together that this is all coming from > > Miralax use. I'm willing to travel to meet with any of you..............I think we need to contact an investigative reporter to do a story so the thousands, flood their lines.....................All this would take is one story ran on 20/20 or Dateline and the phones would be ringing by the thousands.................trust me! Something this big and so widespread needs someone big with resorces behind them to help us. Maybe Geraldo would care, he sticks up for the people? I would like to call , Keeping America Honest....................There is one other benefit to getting this story out as well, this will not only bring out the thousands of people that this has happened to but it will bring out all the people who've had someone that died from this and bring out all the toxicologist's and experts explaining what in fact this med does and what it could have possibly done, which would save our children the hundreds of tests they want to do, looking for what could have happened. They will also have authority to get inside Braintree labs and make them handover all the inside info that they hold!!! If we don't speak, they won't know.........Like my physician says "If it's not in the protocol, they'll think it must be from the Mc_onalds, you ate that day" sad but true......................
