I wanted to know if Crystal had any deletion of the 1p36 or 22q13 chromosomes. She said that the preliminary results on her blood sample do NOT show these deletions. >> Hi all, I spoke to Patti the other day. She told me that they are not finding this deletion as they had hoped. 's sample will be tested this week-in time for our visit with Dobyns. She also mentioned that someone (can't remember who) just got another grant for more studies and she thinks things wil happen in the next couple of years. I really hope so. We'll see what Dobyns has to tell us but a this point we might just put off having more kids and hope that the reasearch is fruitful. is still running a low temperature. We reduced the Klonopin dosage after I lost my mind yesterday...dealing with a miserable (who rarely ever cries). Even after giving him a quarter of a pill he's still lethargic and having problems swallowing. So I called the neuro and that's it - no more Klonopin. We agreed to hold off on new meds until we are back from Chicago. The neuro wants to start something new, and of course I forgot to ask what he had in mind. Anyone have any suggestions about medications for IS? I'm hoping between Dobyns and our neuro we can come up with a better solution.
