Great article...great that this child has a great advocate to voice for her...rooting for this mom to continue on never giving up along within anyone on this journey.Strength in numbers, unity is a huge demand to tackle these issues. 

Such a task...but...when anyone says " no " ...we say " yes " & move forward empowering where needed.Irma

Why the Dynavox so expensive?

It should have been free anyway (MEDICAID or STAP pays for it).

Very sad...

I think every non-verbal child should have a reliable communication device whether at school, group home, or home.

Yes, every human being should have a communication device to share their voice

in this day and age when this type of technology is now available. How

ridiculous to put a mother already in an exhausting situation through more. I

realized early on that we were better off keeping our son home and we were

fortunate to be able to do so. But this isn't the best nor possible for all.

For goodness sake....she should be able to have her own nurse. Prayers to all

the parents in the middle of these conflicts.
