Families for Effective Autism Treatment

Challenging Behaviors

The presentation will cover addressing challenging behaviors including

physical aggression, verbal aggression, noncompliance, and other

behaviors that interfere with learning. The presenter will discuss how

to prevent behaviors from occurring in the first place, determining

the functions of challenging behaviors, and how to develop plans to

address these behaviors using research-based strategies.
