Guest guest
So How do I get on the list to testify before the committee, and does it have to be positive statements? Unfortunately, I haven't heard much positive with regard to the education of children with autism in Texas. I was an educator for fifteen years in Texas schools. I could not return to teaching once my child was diagnosed because advocating for a child with autism in Texas is a full-time job!I HATE to fly, but I'm telling you, if I could address this committee regarding the education of children with autism in Texas, I will get on a plane (or maybe I will drive) and I would be at this hearing! Will parents be allowed to testify before the hearing? If not, where may I send a letter?Sincerely,Haven DeLay
