Guest guest
Garnet, Do you have any idea on dosage and how long it would take to see if it were having any effect? Thanks, Shelli Re: RE: Dad's leg pain Homeopathic Calcarea fluorica 30C is a remedy that has workedfor calcification at the site of a bone trauma in a horse Ihad. Also works well for any bone involvement in abscessesor other issues as an adjunctive remedy to other H. remedies.Garnet
Guest guest
I will suggest he drink more water. He has to be dehydrated. I will check the skin. Shelli Re: RE: Dad's leg pain Definitely suggest he try drinking more water. Coffee is a diureticand if he is also taking diuretics he is bound to be dehydrated. Youcan do the pinch test on the back of his hand. Pinch up a tent ofskin and see how long it takes it to snap back into place. Thisslows with age due to loss of elastin but still should be withina normal range of about two seconds. The doctor is out of his mindfor blowing this off, but it is a common occurence. He might consider another physician, suggest a second opinion asa prudent precaution for a person with his symptoms and conditions.Garnet
Guest guest
Personally I would try 30C, that is the strength. With homeopathy you use 3-5 pellets, they are sugar pellets or tablets that you let dissolve under your tongue. No food or water for 15 minutes before or after. You want them to absorb sublingually. As to frequency and even strength that is a matter of preference with the practitioner. There are many views on H. remedies. It can not hurt you and you can not overdose, although it can cause a speeding up of symptoms before they clear as they are moving out. Also can mask other deeper constitutional issues in the eyes of classical homeopaths. I am not classical, I use them for acute situations and get great results with no problems. But a classical homeopathy wants to treat the underlying or most basic level of cause, that of the person's constitution. That said if it were me I would likely take it for 3-5 days and then wait a week to see if things start to change. Homeopathy always works off the symptom picture and looks for minute changes, as well as seemingly unrelated symptoms, hence they spend a lot of time taking a very long medical history and symptom picture. Probably way more than you wanted to know but it is part of what you will find when looking into Homeopathy and yes it is confusing because there is so much minutiae involved and many schools of thought.
