hello everyone,

my understanding is that medicare as a secondary payer will not cover

copays from primary payer ? can anyone confirm this ? also for the

prescription copays, will medicare cover ?

any input is greatly appreciated.

Sure Medicare will pay as secondary and coordinate benefits, but you must

use a provider that accepts Medicare assignment (pharmacies for

immunosuppressive medications only). Patient can't paper claim for payment

under Medicare since BIPA of 2000.

It should be okay to talk about cases as long as we don not mention

theis names/SS#.
