I have found that using kombucha vinegar on my arm pits stops any

under arm odor from devoloping. I discovered this by accident and want

to share it with you all. One day I had shaved too closely and ended

up with stinging arm pits. As I always keep a jar of kombucha vinegar

in my bathroom for cleansing my face, so I just dipped a cotten pad

into the K vinegar and applied it to my arm pits. From there on

whenever I was finished wiping my face with a cotton pad dipped in K

vinegar, I also wiped my arm pits with it. The sting is long history

but the fresh feeling remains. For me this works better than any

herbal deodorant from the health food store, and is much cheaper. Now,

I have not gone through the hot summer days yet, but have gone dancing

without any deodorant exept the K vinegar wipe in the morning - it

still worked!

Wow, has to try this suggestion! Was considering putting a jar or

bottle in the bath room for kids acne.

When you say Kombucha vinegar, do you mean plain KT, or is it KT that

has fermented for longer? I just imagine having very sticky armpits

if I haven't brewed it for long enough LOL.

But I love the idea. I currently only have one armpit that sweats

(radiation therapy has stopped the other one, temporarily I believe)

and don't want to use 'conventional' deodorant opr antiperspirant, and

haven't found the crystal ones to be that good.

I might put some KT into a fine spritzer bottle and spritz each morning!

Absolutely, Audrey. I've got containers of liquid KT and KT cream at every

sink.

I would like to know how this works for you. This was suggested long ago

and the fear was expressed (not by me) that SCOBYferous material might clog

the sprayer. Would like to hear the results. Otherwise, a splash in the

hand works wonders.
