Guest guest
I read this article and want to share that I have taken a glucosomine, chondriotin, MSM product for many years. Every since my left knee was operated on. I have had wonderful results with it. Right on every single bottle is a huge warning about allergy to shell fish, than it gives the specifics. Isn't that as it should be? I suppose a person could be unaware of this type of allergy? Ian you ask for our comments and I just wanted to share this with you. This warning has always been on this product since I started using it years ago. Just my thoughts here. Thanks for sharing the link with us. Blessings. Anyway--here's my question? My friend just called me and said that her husband had a stroke yesterday (they are in another state). It's called a hemoratic stroke, meaning a blood vessel broke. It is on his left side of the brain as his right side is effected. He is not totally paralyzed but can move his right side still, just not real coordinated. He apparently talks pretty good, but doesn't remember things. Like they will ask him what year it is and he always answers 1965, but then he says he knows it's not 65 but can't remember the year. They told her it was good that he realized he was not remembering correctly. He has difficulty swallowing so they are thinking about putting in a feeding tube as he could swallow food down into his lungs, though the therapists did get him to eat a little bit of food. He had the blood leak into the brain last night, but this morning they didn't find any new blood so said that they would hold off putting a stent in. Isn't DMSO good for strokes? I just can't remember what all to do, as I have never dealt personally with a stroke before. So my knowledge is limited. She said because he refused to let her call an ambulance (sigh--why do wives listen to that kind of crap?) it was about an hour after the stroke before he consented to letter her call. She said that she did give him 3 baby asprins before the ambulance got there. What they have given him in the hospital I have no idea. samala,
