Guest guest
Hi Jan, , thanks for the welcome back. Jan, it's great to hear from you! Hopefully the mri you are having in January will give some answers? I'm doing ok, still the endless struggle to recover. Seems once your system goes down everything starts fall apart. I actually had to spent the night in the hospital last night due to bowl problems! Guest guest
Hi , It's good to hear from you. I'm sorry that you're having so many problems. I haven't had surgery yet but I hear that it should be in Feb. Originally I was scheduled for Dec 4 but with only 3 weeks notice and construction about to begin on my kitchen, and my local doctor needing more advanced notice than that so he can be in the O.R. with me, I just couldn't make it work. So I postponed, and who wants to be laid up for Christmas like that anyway? I've been in touch via email with my nsg and it does look like Feb but I don't have a definite date yet. Hope to hear more from you and also hope your recovery moves along. Sue Mc returning to the list Hi,I'm not new here, but I've been gone so long I'm sure that most ofthe members here don't know me. I was on this list about 3years ago up until last summer, I think, when I had to leavebecause I was having difficulties reading and writing. I've reallybeen working on the problem and I miss you guys so I'd like tocome back. This 4 hour surgery, 2 weeks off work, and 2 months until I'mback to normal (ha ha) has turned into quite the experience andso I might have a lot to share with others who are just learningabout their condition.I've dropped by from time to time to read the messages but it'sbeen hard to keep up, so I'm anxious to hear how everyone isdoing. Kathy, Sue Mc, have you gone in for surgery again? As for myself, I am still in Rehab, and have had little to noprogress in anything we have been working on, but no one hasgiven up on me and I'm seeing a new neuro in the new year.My notes may be short for a while, it takes me a long time to writethem, but I'll do my best to answer any questions and contributeas much as I can.Take care all
