Guest guest
Hi, Some time ago I posted about problems making Piima milk with goat milk, and I though you might be interested in how this worked out, since it is working really well now. I kept getting this sharp tasting, slightly curdled stuff and I gave it to my grateful dogs. I kept doing this for them, and I noticed that as I made generation after generation of Piima milk, it settled in somehow and eventually became mild tasting, thick, " stretchy " and creamy. It's almost as if it had to acclimate itself to our locale. I'm trying the same thing with filmilk, and it still comes out kind of icky and ends up in the dog bowls at their dinnertime, but I'm hoping that after a few generations, it will settle in as well. Just thought that was kind of interesting... Laurie
