Guest guest
Hello all, I have another question about my apt. I will be seeing Dr. Pinkhasova and then DR.B. My apts are 5 hour apart and what i was wondering is have any of you guys seen her and how long do the apts last? I will see DR.B at 5pm and just seems really late, and wasn't sure how long the apt would last with him. I will also have a new MRI, C-SCAN, and X-RAYS, and not quiet sure why the c-scan and xray. I have never had these done for chiari reasons. The MRI they said was poor quality, and i may have already told you guys some of this and if i did i am sorry for repeating my self. So i understand repeating the MRI. Just trying to get a fill of what to expect. :-) Thank you all soooo much for you compassion and support though all of this and am always looking forward in sharing my Chiari journey with you all. AND would love to hear any sight seeing storey u may have or any suggestions of were to go!!!! We may stay one day extra to see something if i fill like it, and would like to hear how you did were ever you went. THANK YOU AGAIN SOOOO MUCH and sorry for the long winded note:-) Best Wishes Becca ACM1 12-15MM decompressed 4-06 c1 and partial c2 laminectomy lots of symptoms
Guest guest
For both of my visits out there nothing ran on time. Just plan to be there all day – take something to do and the day will go by quickly. They want you to stick around because they never know the Dr Bs schedule. When I was out there last week – I met with Dr Chen instead and my appts were in and out – we were out of there by 3:00 and our appts started at 11:00 am – pretty good timing I thought. I spend more time waiting in my local Neurologist office on regular check ups. They do try to get you in and out as quickly as possible – however sometimes you have to wait so be prepared. They have bagels and coffee in the morning and for lunch they have menus you can order for delivery. Oh and about your scans – you have to redo them because Dr B has special cuts he has MDI do of your MRIs. This allows him to see perfectly whats going on with you. Its totally worth it – to have a correct answer. The tests all take around 3 hrs and then your free the rest of the day. You will take the films with you when you leave so that’s kinda cool to have them to review before your appt. As far as other exciting things to do in NY – its great to go downtown and look around. We took the Railroad to Penn Station and walked down 5th avenue to Centeral park – quite the walk. This last time I didn’t have as much energy so we simply went down and walked around the Diamond District and then went to see a play on Broadway. They have tickets usually available for all the shows and there are like 35 or so plays going on at any one time. We headed for downtown around 3pm and got back around 11pm. That was a pretty long day!!! Make the most of it – have fun!!! in OH _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of rjbry4 Sent: Friday, May 25, 2007 12:43 AM To: Subject: More TCI questions ncc Hello all, I have another question about my apt.
