Sorry Margaret,

After re-reading my question, I realized I didn't word it very well

**insert blushing emoticon here**

I have 7 jars of kombucha brewing right now. Next week, when they

will be ready for 'harvest', I will presumably have 14 SCOBYS (7 mamas

and 7 babies). Would I be okay to leave the one jar of brewed

kombucha alone, and simply add my extra SCOBYS to that jar of 1 week

old brewed tea, and call that my starter pot?

Very glad to hear I don't need to use up what little fridge space I

have.
