I would suggest contacting The Bubel/Aiken Foundation. The Bubel/Aiken Foundation offers a K-12 Inclusive Service Learning curriculum that addresses factors that impede the successful inclusion of children with disabilities both in school and in the community. The Bubel/Aiken Foundation serves to bridge the gap that exists between young people with special needs and the world around them. They support communities with inclusive programs and together create awareness about the possibilities that inclusion can bring.

Taken from their website, The Bubel Aiken Foundation believes that "The desegregation of programs, jobs, services, and educational opportunities will benefit children with and without special needs. We will break down barriers that divide by helping families obtain the services, support and financial assistance that makes full inclusion possible. We will work to educate the public and motivate society to move toward full inclusion as a way of life".

Their contact information is listed below. Request to speak with Aron Hall or Kristy . I am sure that they could provide you with some assistance/direction.The Bubel/Aiken FoundationTel: Fax: contactus@...

Hope that this helps!

I wonder if you can help me. I was consulted about a key note speaker to talk about inclusive education in the US during a seminar in Brazils Rehabilitation Fair (Reatech) – it is the biggest in its kind in Latin America. Ideally, someone representing the government – state or a big city like New York or other state near NY or federal representative. Do you know I good name to propose ?

Thanks a bunch

I heard Dr. Villa last year, he is an engaging speaker and his experiences are international. He could be a very good option for your conference.

Remus - An awesome speaker and author of books about inclusion - He is still an administrator in Deer Valley, but overhauled a county here in TN before he went there. I've heard him speak and he just won a TASH award in December. https://www.dvusd.org/pages_news_achievements/remus_tash_award_1008.html Mattheiss, Executive DirectorLifeLine, Inc.Reaching Families of Those with Special Needs With Support, Education, and Respitewww.LifeLineFamilies.org-- Almeida wrote:
