Hi Alison: Perhaps you or your friend might read Max Gerson's book, " A Cancer Therapy " , if you have some time. Gerson claimed he was able to cure 50% of terminal cancer patients with his therapy during a 30 year period. In some cases, Gerson reported, he was able to cure the patient of cancer but the patient died anyway of liver degeneration. His therapy has been carried on after his death by his daughter, Charlotte. Charlotte has said that the therapy can not always recover the liver but the kidneys always return to normal or near normal, making kidney dialysis and transplants unnecessay. After a tranplant, the patient must remain immune supressed for the rest of his life or the transplant is rejected. Charlotte says the Gerson Therapy is contraindicated for transplant patients as the therapy would cause the transplant to be rejected. For that reason, I would never give a transplant victim advice on how he or she might improve his or her diet. Chi
