Hi Nathala and EveryOne,

There is a photo of mold on a Kombucha Colony in the Photos section of

the list homepage.

If you see anything like that, fuzzy, of any color, please throw

everything away and start with a completely new Kombucha Colony and

new Kombucha tea. Mold may not just be on top of the Colony but also

within it.

Some molds are not toxic but some are so don't take a chance with mold

Please everyone, have a look at the photos section in the Photos of

Kombucha album and see what moldy Kombucha looks like.

Bonnie, are you really sure this is mold?

Is it fuzzy or does it feel smooth and slimy?

Looking at this very helpful site you should be able to diagnose

whether you have mould or just squiggleys/ooglies.
