Guest guest
I have a question that I know some of you here can help me with. I mailed some kombucha successfully thanks to the help I got from several on this list! I didn't have a gatorade bottle so I used the ziplock method and then sealed the ziplock bag in a seal-a-meal bag, then sent it in a well padded box all the way from Texas to Alaska! and it got there! The ziplock was still sealed--amazing! My question is, the recipient has not made any tea yet, and I think it is still all sealed up. It was mailed last Friday, so it has been a week sealed up like this almost. Is it OK to leave it like that indefinitely?.....or should it should be opened and put in a breathable jar on the counter with it's liquid poured over it, until it is used. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. a
