Good point -however good labs should list the normal ranges for children

and adults and some for some tests male v's female - sometime list infant

norms as well.

blood results

It is important to bear in mind the NORMS on blood test results are for

ADULTS, not children. PEDIATRIC rates differ and vary with age.

As a laboratory worker I just wanted to respond that if you register the

child with a birthdate when they get the blood drawn--the normal values will

be age appropriate. Check the top of the form and if the child's age is on

it, the normal values are appropriate for the child tested. Just some

insight.

No medication change right now ... I'm on Sulfasalazine, prednisone, folic

acid, flexeril (to help with sleeping), and meds for other issues.

I'm not sure what the Glom Fit Rate is ... is that the kidney function?

Definitely would worry me if my numbers weren't where they should be though!

Good luck!

I always get copies of my lab results so that I can see the actual

numbers. Then I can monitor these things myself.

Hi Sue - that is a good idea. I keep copies of all tests as well. I

have them in a binder with tab dividers for Bloodwork, Xray, MRI,

Doctor notes, etc. My PC laughed when I told him I have a binder and

said that would be a good thing and he just might have me bring it in

one day so he could review it *lol*.......Doreen :)
