used commercial kt as starter....

Hi, I'm new to the list, and to drinking kt. I just got two scobies

from a guy who left them for me in a cooler outside his front door, as

he didn't have time to meet me. He didn't leave much starter at all,

just enough to give them a very shallow bath. I put a 16oz bottle of

plain organic kt I got from a store in each jar with the scoby and the

water/sugar/tea solution, as I felt I didn't have much other choice,

and now I'm wondering if it was a good idea.
