W. Diehl and an article describing its discovery was published in Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences [83(3):296-298]. Cetylmyristoleate, however, had to be injected to be effective. Like other liquid waxes it is composed of large molecules that tend on clumping together forming large impenetrable masses which resists absorption and pass through the digestive system virtually undigested. I took 2 T of 10 ppm CG for about 8 weeks. After about four weeks my arthritis pain was gone. Worked the same for my husband. Since it is so expensive to buy I thought topical with DMSO right on the joint my make it go further. Seems to work but you do not get the mood elevation with the higher oral dose. Not sure if it made me smarter but there has been a 20% IQ increase documented in a study with oral CG.
