Patty - Crystal is so much like Wes. She will, however, stick out her tongue

if I ask her to. She can only get it part way out of her mouth, however. I'm

pretty sure she has problems with tongue thrust, since most of the things I

give to her to eat wind up more on her, then in her ...She also uses her

hands to push the food back in, or to keep it in. I never gave it much

thought before. She's been making more sounds. I was trying very hard to get

her to say mama yesterday. She tried, but couldn't quite get it. BUMMER ....

She was playing with cans & stacking them up. When they'd fall down, I'd say

" oh, ohhh !!! " Before long, she was trying to say it too. Very cute !!!

She has a cold now, so I'm watching her like a hawk. She was choking on her

saliva yesterday.

I guess our kids are destined to be messy eaters !!! < grin >

Please give Wes ( Crys's BIG brother ) great big {{{{{ HUGS }}}}} & kisses

for us....Same to the other kids....

Lotsa luv to you all,

& her everloving Crystal Aquielle - almost 31 mos. old, & getting into

EVERYTHING !!!!!

Wes is a messy eater. Lately he hasn't been drooling as much. Probably

due to the topamax(three months without a seizure now). Oh well still

one day at a time.

Our kids are great, aren't they?

Need to go for now. I have a headache. School is much better.

God bless and all our love to you guys.

Patty - I'm waiting for Crystal to turn into the Nintendo queen. Right now

she's into Blues Clues & other video wonders... She knows how to turn on the

VCR & put the tape in. All I have to do is turn the TV to channel 3 & adjust

the sound.

Give the kids great big {{{{ HUGS }}}} & kisses for us...

Lotsa luv to you all...

& Crystal Aquielle

Isn't it funny that our kids love Nintendo. I know Wes jumps up and down

an hollers when he wins. It is wonderful. Still haven't solved the

solution about the controller. Tried to put plastic wrap on it and

secure the wrap with strapping tape. " Water " still got underneath the

wrap. We had to purchase another controller.

Well gotta go. We're going out to Mc Playland for lunch.

Take care.

Patty - my hubby just had an epiphany !!! He believes that if you contact

Nintendo directly, & tell them about Wes ( oh my God, can you imagine the PR

!!!!). Seriously, a child who is neurologically impaired & LOVES Nintendo.

They'd probably design a new controller ( or special controller covers for

the handicapped ) & you'd wind up getting it free, for the publicicty alone.

Harv said that they made an adaptive Nintendo controller for a quadraplegic

child. I really didn't know this...Nintendo has a history of going out of

it's way to help the handicapped ( in the name of PR of course !!! ) I just

had to share this with you. Give them a call, write them an e-mail, whatever

you have to do. It can only benefit Wes & all of the other kids out there

with similar issues !!!

Give Wes, & the other kids a great big {{{ HUG }}} & kiss for

us.....

Lotsa luv to you all,

& her everloving Crystal Aquielle

My stepson called them, but I think I am going to try again.

The controller is " dead " again. Can't shell out another thirty bucks

right now.

I'll let you know what happens.

Love to all there,

Patty and the kids
