Guest guest Posted March 16, 2005 Report Share Posted March 16, 2005 Hi,Im new to this group but not new to MSM...I had a Shar-pei that started fevering every three weeks...I originally was going to put him on DSMO but my vets didn't want me to use it as they said it was only used for horses and not dogs..I started doing research and decided the MSM was as good a choice..... I started my boy on 3000 mg daily of MSM along with Vit C [which is now recommend to enhance the MSM] I also gave Vit E...This turned out to be a great combination as my bot went with out a fever for two years.... Pei that fever have an inflammatory disease,that can lead to kidney failure and confirmed AA Amyloid.....The Msm did not stop the disease but did stop the fevers....And I believe his life was better because of it...There are other pei that are benefiting from MSM also..
