Guest guest
on Sunday the 31st of August the ducks will take to the water on a dedicated course at Molesey Lock, near Hampton Court Palace, London. Caudwell Children are part of this record breaking attempt, as the Race organizers are attempting to race a quarter of a million of our little yellow friends down the 1 kilometre race course! This will break the record we already hold, (in 2007 we smashed the Singapore World Record by racing 165,000 yellow plastic ducks down the river Thames). It is just £2 to adopt a duck*. There are 30 top prizes, and first prize is a whopping £10,000. (*your £2 includes a donation to our 3 lead charities, additional donations can be made to support your chosen charity). To find Caudwell Children's webpage, please use the following link: http://www.thegreatbritishduckrace.co.uk/charitypage.php?charity=707 Please register soon, to be part of this great event. Perhaps you'd even like to pass this one to family and friends to increase your chances of winning!!! Alternatively, if you would like to get involved in other volunteering or fundraising activities for Caudwell Children please find attached a one page info sheet. If you would like more information or assistance with fundraising activities, please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to speaking with you. Thank you in anticipation.
