Guest guest
I just received an email from my university psychology clinic; " The Purdue Anxiety Clinic is accepting clients. We are a specialty clinic that deals with anxieties and fears and our techniques are based on up-to-date treatment evidence. We do extensive assessment, provide feedback, and collaborate with you on your treatment goals. Our fees are based on your ability to pay, but we do not turn anyone away for financial reasons. We are located in the Psychology Clinic in the first floor of the Psychology Building. If you are experiencing panic attacks, phobias, fear of public speaking, exam anxiety, or fears and anxiety because of a traumatic event that happened to you, or any other fear, please call us...(it goes on to list contact info). " Should I look into this? Several weeks ago I stopped by the school's audiology clinic and the secretary took my information and said they would contact me to make an appointment, but nothing ever happened. I'm just not so sure if some sort of anxiety treatment would really help, as there is the possibility that 4S is more than just psychological. Has anyone felt they greatly benefited from some sort of anxiety treatment?
