Many of the posts here, including yours, have prompted a great deal of self-examination. We are learning more about each other and ourselves. Some of what we are learning is beyond the state of understanding of autism among the " professionals " . We need to use this knowledge to bring the treatment of our kind out of the Dark Ages.
