Guest guest
Vivian, My son is very high functioning, ADHD and Aspergers. He gets distracted very easily and I think the best thing I did was to advocate for him to take the test alone. That way he could talk to himself, tap his pencil, sit on the floor, stand, take breaks, etc.. whatever he needed to keep focused. If he sat in with the other students he would have upset them and become upset himself by the constant reminders to be quiet and sit still. Stay persistant and keep asking for them to provide your child's scores or some proof from the state why they are not available.... > > > > > > > > Hi all: > > Not sure if this should be done as a poll or not, however I'm > interested to find out which schools and/or SD provided their > child's test scores for the TAKS M and/or TAKS Alt.
