Guest guest
Glad to see that everyone is still hanging in with AOM! Haven't been on here since before Thanksgiving. Last left off with my hubby and his knee surgery. That is all over with and he'll be returning back to work on Tuesday. During the past 8 weeks I had 2 slipped Disks in my back and have been in and out of hospitals. We both are just crippled up that we laugh at eachother as we watch eachother trying to take care of eachother. Good Gravy what an end to 2005!!! hahah ! I am another guilty one who has not been able to post to AOM as I haven't been able to walk on the tradmill. I DO SO MUCH miss my crazy long walks on the treadmill. You wouldn't believe! When I look back at my 8 , 9, 10 mile days, I just get like , " oh man " !!! I want that back! The Shots that I've been having in my back are not working so it looks like I'll have back surgery soon. I've gone through this 3 times in 8 weeks and after the 3rd time is when they open you up and do what they got to do. I'm all for it because I want to get back to me! I'm somewhat hurt at all the hard work I put into it and what I lost in weight and because of this slipped disk situation, it's like starting all over again from the very bottom. You really have to stay with it, you really have to make that apart of your everyday life to stay fit and healthy. Stay at it Mona, I know you can do it. Even a little everyday always helps. Keep going Steve and don't look back after today, remember tomorrow is a new year. Good luck everyone in all your journeys for the New Year! Happy New Year to all ! I'm off to make my son a Brithday fun day! Yep, he was a New Years Eve bundle of the best kind of joy a mom could ask for. He is 15 today ........ Talk to you all next year!!!
