Hi all,

I second this! learned how to drink using this cup. Now he uses

regular kids cups-no training spout for him. He's not perfect at it...but

the milk gets down!

Hi All.

asked if anyone knew of a good drinking cup for .

The BEST catalog I know of that has great supplies is called

MEALTIMES. They are on-line at WWW.new-vis.com

You can order a catalog through the website and it's very thorough.

There are several cups that could use, especially the

Sassy Infa-Trainer Cup, which has a top like a commuter coffee cup

that turns to adjust the flow of liquid. The lid is depressed and

keeps the chin tucked and prevents neck hyperextension during

drinking. It holds only 4 ounces but doesn't have handles.

It's $4.60 and the item # is CMF-42-01.

For a great handled cup to use without the sippy top, The First Years

brand makes one called Tumblemates Trainer, and you can get it at

Target for about 3.00. It's in the Mealtimes catalog also, along

with lots of great stuff for oral stim and feeding.

Good luck and take care,

Jill, Mom to Audrey (3 1/2) with PMG

Thanks Jill!

I went to the website and printed out some of the products,

especially the cup. As soon as I get a breather, I'll be on the

phone to order it and some spoons and a bib and, and, whatever gets

me through the day. Janet Green Babb had shown me the catalog some

time ago but I had forgotten about it. She is a wonderful lady. We

are taking to see her once a month just to get another pt's

opinion and advice. She really wants shannon in AFO's but my CCS pt

wants to wait. So I figured I'd start the application process to get

funding through GGRC and by the time its approved and processed,

she'd be ready for her ankle splints. Wow, I rambled... Hope all is

well with you and Audrey. Sometime I'd love for you to bring her

down to my Mom's horse ranch for some horsietherapy, if you think

she'd like it.

Take care,
