Repeated use of raw (truly raw) honey on scars will slowly eliminate them... it may take weeks, or even many months for a really deep/big one, but it will slowly but surely vanish. Just apply the honey and rub it in, and let it sit for about half an hour, then you can wipe the residue off. Do this at least once per day (but if you can do it 2 or 3, it will work that much faster) to be effective. And your skin will love you for it too... Guest guest
Do you know of anyone that has used honey on acne scars? Guest guest
> Do you know of anyone that has used honey on acne scars? Not personally, no... I only know of two different people who eliminated (one was very large and deep) scars they had had for over 20 years - one was a surgucal scar, another was from a bad burn. But, it shouldn't matter - a scar is a scar... The two biggest hurdles (and reasons people don't do it) is it is a little messy (honey is sticky) - and it takes time. It won't happen in just a few weeks. It may be a month or more before you even start noticing a difference - it all depends on the scar and your own personal metablism (some people heal more quickly than others).
