Guest guest
--- Hi Jay! There is a paper by sen et al in the current (20(4)) Journal of Strength & Conditioning Research that addresses your topic. There is also a paper by Paradisis et al in the same journal that you may find interesting as well. Best wishes! As a successful track cyclist who has personally used motorpacing as a very important training tool, I've seen and read much anecdotal evidence concerning overspeed work, but as a coach, I'd like to show my athletes some real scientific evidence on the hows and whys of overspeed training. He has a chapter in that book which discusses the research literature on overspeed or supramaximal training.
