Guest guest
AOM is a a website that allows you to keep track of your walking. I guess technically you can also do other things; but mostly it's about entering how many steps per day you walked ... every day. And that begs the question of ... how would you know? I believe everyone in the program uses a pedometer to keep track of their steps. And for the most part; mine is simply clipped on to me all the time .... so it tracks all the steps for the entire day. The fun part of the website; is that you select a " trail " ... and it shows how far you have moved on the trail as you go along. You see a pair of shoes superimposed on a map; the shoes indicating your current position on the trail. Right now we have 25 people that are logging their steps. We recently reached an accumulated 7 million steps between all of us, which is also 3500 actual miles. This is several months into the program. We encourage any interested party to sign up. There are no fees or anything like that; other than probably buying a pedometer. Registration instructions: << 1. Go to www.americaonthemove.org 2. Click " Join Now " 3. Select " Individual " registration 4. Use Registration Code: RTH38325 5. Finish registering >>
