Hi all,

This email made the rounds here a few months ago. Jdbgmgr.exe is a legitimate Windows file. The "virus warning" is a fake and is documented on Symantec's website:

http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/jdbgmgr.exe.file.hoax.html

According to the website most people who have deleted this file do not need to reinstall it, but you may want to check with your IT department just to be sure. I hope this is helpful!Regards,

This is not a virus this is a Hoax disguised as a virus to get people to delete true files from your computer.

You can search Yahoo with jdbgmgr and it will give info on this hoax. Or if you want you can click the link I have attached below.

Thanks, Cristian-my computer people got a "2nd opinion" from someone & have now come to the same conclusion. Of course, this begs the question-what exactly did they spend the afternoon doing to my computer?? And what did they delete?? Probably better off not knowing the answer to those, I guess.
