been practicing t'ai chi chih for several years, and while it differs

from what we consider a workout it is very benefical in working out the

inner organs, relaxing the mind, grounding and a host of other things.

In practicing it regularly you will be accumulating and balancing the

chi (energy) and will learn to tap into it and use it more effeciently.

If I can help you out with any questions you might have feel free to

email me.

I think I picked the right thing for me cuz I can really focus and get into

it like I did LaMaze for both deliveries. I did feel looser and more relaxed

after doing this the very first time, especially in my left shoulder and neck

which is a real spasm prone area and figure when I can visualize more and

concentrate on form less, it will be even better. I can see where this can

really help to reduce headaches and muscle pain from stress

The PM one is supposed to help promote sleep too

Barb

who is lucky to have the time to pursue this stuff and the support of my

family

The one I use is called T'ai Chi Chih-Serenity in the Midst of

Activity. By Pam Towne. This form of t'ai chi was originated by

Stone. If you can't find it at Amazon or one of those places, you can

call 877-9TAI CHI. Or order it online at www.enhancing.com/products.htm

l

Just keep in mind that these are slow circular flowing movements,

and very different from the aerobic workout of tae-bo. does use

some of the movements at the end of the instructional and basic studio

tapes for the cool down.

The ones I bought at a price club was designated for beginners and would like

to know what uses too. The AM one is the only one of the 3 pack I have

tried so far and it has some good yet easy stretches in it

Barb

who did the tape the second time today as soon as I woke up

that's why I think they are perfect for an extra cooldown or even warm-up if

you have the time before or after the Tae-Bo work-out

Barb

who figures gentle stretching and controlled breathing can only help the

overall effect of Tae-Bo
