Guest guest
Apart from the nutrients in veggies, fiber is a very important reason for recommending at least 5-10 servings of fruits and vegatables daily to everyone. Fiber is very important for the proper functioning of the intestinal tract. I would not call Green drinks a vegetable nor would I call fruit juice a substitute for fruit. I encourage everyone to eat their nutrition rather than drink their nutrition. Your intestinal tract will thank you. Interestingly enough when it comes to satiety the brain does not take into account liquids, so if you are trying to lose weight all of your calories should come in the form of solid food and not liquids.
