Guest guest
Had this very same issue with my son when he was very young. He was once this very same problem with my now 16 year old son when he was young. I begin to realize I was not helping anything by physically forcing him to get a haircut with him screaming to the top of his lungs the entire time. I finally decided his peace of mind was more important and that it didn't matter if his hair grew as long as need be until he could handle it. One of those decisions where we have to pick our battles carefully, and this just wasn't one that I was willing to battle. It seems like it wasn't too long after that I found a stylist with a VCR/TV where he could watch The Train or whatever made him happy, such as video games that distracted and made him happy. Then the stylist cut his hair with ONLY scissors. I think the noise of the clippers was what made the entire ordeal so hard for him in the beginning. Wasn't too much after that he accepted the clippers again.Good Luck
