Guest guest
HI Steph, I cant attach it here but if you want to write me off list I can give you a study of over 500 vitimin companies and how they rate from a indepedent study. Only a hand full of the 500 are top rated. Most arent next to worthless according to this study including some of the more expensive brands............. all the best, Mike ectopistes@... wrote: Thankyou all for your response on vitamins. It would appear that I missed out on iherb!!!! One more question: I am planning to store a bit of freeze dried foods as I expect soon one day without notice, there will be a significant food shortage. I am currently trying to decide whether the mountain house or the honeyville grain would be the best. In other words, is there a noticable difference in the tastes and or quality of just plain dried carrots? Honeyville grain is much cheaper than mountain house and I cannot eat most of what mountain house makes because they pour sugar into everything. But possably their simpler foods like veggies. and eggs, meats etc... might be better? Or not? I hate to spend more than I have to when I can scarcely afford it. Does anyone have any experience with both places and their freeze dried foods or any comments on the two? Guest guest
What I would store is Real Salt and seeds, things that sprout, and other things that I enjoy. A good supply of vitamin C, rotated and used regularly. Grains, nuts and seeds. Alfalfa, spinach, sunflower, broccoli, will all sprout and make green food, and that's the best thing we can eat. Store garden seeds, they will produce food in just a few weeks. Radishes and Carrots will be ready to eat in a month. Lettuce and spinach in 40 days. I guess that's from having grown up in Utah, the food storage capital of the world, every Mormon is supposed to have a year's food storage. Know what they were telling members to store? Whole grain wheat, powdered milk, sugar, salt and canned goods. Yuck. No one eats their food storage because it's full of things they would never eat normally. Store the things you do eat. Buy extra and keep it in a cool dry place, or get a deep freeze, or both. Keep enough food on hand to feed your family for a few months, and then eat it and replace it as you eat it. Those freeze dried foods have a shelf life. Are you going to eat them before that and replace them? You can also get a dehydrator and dry produce. My sister's hubby was produce manager and she went bananas, literally. Dried everything. Kathy

Guest guest
You could go to the Yahoo group and put a copy in the files, By following this link http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/DimethylSulfoxide-DMSO/files/ BUT only if the moderator opens the files so that people other than the moderator can upload them. Can the moderator do that?
