Guest guest
Garnet, I must say: you rock! You are like a walking holistic therapy encyclopedia. :-) Such a wealth of information! I was wondering how emu oil differs from DMSO in it's ability to transport medicinals through the skin. It certainly is receiving a lot of press these days (emu oil that is) and I was wondering if using that as a transport (instead of DMSO) might help to avoid the histamine release associated with DMSO. On the other hand, if the histamine is released slowly, in the controlled manner you described, might DMSO actually eventually DEPLETE the histamine stores of the tumor, thereby shrinking it? Guest guest
Emu oil is penetrating but it is not a solvent like DMSO and not AS penetrating as DMSO. Emu oil reaches sub-dermal layers. DMSO reaches blood, body tissues and can transport substances across the Blood Brain Barrier in sufficient blood concentration, generally reached only with IV administration. I don't know how fast the tumor is producing histamine. Tumor cells grow much faster than normal cells, in general. I would proceed slowly and watch carefully with each dose. Is there any reason you do not want to inject the tumor with CS? This would avoid the histamine release and deliver high concentrations of CS into the tumor.
