soaking seeds and nuts

Yes, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds should be soaked 12 hrs. After

soaking in a salt water (about 1 T./gal of seeds & water), I dry them

using the dehydrator at just under 105F to preserve enzymes. I don't see

the point in soaking cashews, however, because they have been cooked in

a hot oil in order to remove a toxic outer layer of the nut. There's no

way around it so they are all processed this way.. no such thing as a

truly raw shelled cashew.

+++Hi Vada. Table salt is poisonous - see this:

The instructions for soaking seeds and nuts is to use sea salt, and not an acid

medium like you'd use for soaking grains, per Sally Fallon at the Weston A.
